The grub was absolutely delicious, the gaff, bog included, was spotless, and the service was brilliant. “ I had the pleasure of visiting 805 Restaurants twice during my trip to London, and both experiences were absolutely fantastic! The first time I went was later in the evening, hoping to try their egusi, but unfortunately, it was already sold out—it’s clearly a popular dish, which I totally understand. Even though I couldn’t get my first choice, I still had an incredible meal. Everything I tried was delicious, and the flavors were on point. The prices are a little higher than what you’d expect for traditional dishes, but the environment and aesthetic of the restaurant more than made up for it. It’s beautifully designed, creating a great atmosphere for dining. On my second visit, I finally got to try the egusi, and let me tell you, it was definitely worth the wait! So rich and flavorful. If there’s a specific dish you’re hoping to try, I’d recommend coming early for lunch to ensure they have it in stock. Overall, 805 Restaurants is a must-visit if you’re in London.
